From Research to Practice 2025, BFH Biel

The objectives of the conference “From Research to Practice” are to present and discuss actionable findings and results from research activities.

This year's conference will initially offer an insight into the broad research of the three institutes IBBM (Institute for Building Materials and Bio-based Materials), IDBH (Institute for Digital Construction and Wood Industry) and IHB (Institute for Timber Construction) of the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, Wood and Construction at the Biel location.

The second part presents current findings on the design and development of timber construction, with a focus on earthquake engineering.
